Masterson’s Pub , situated in the center of Moonee Ponds , promotes itself as a chic “hipster” locale , but my latest trip at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I experienced behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .
The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Neglected
From the moment I entered , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of stale beer and filthy restrooms filled the entire venue .
